  • Overcharging the battery or low charging due to bad performance of the alternator
  • Voltage drop due to long maintenance or not using the battery for a long time and sulphation of the plates inside the battery
  • The drop of the electrolyte level from the edge of the plate or the electrolyte level being higher and lower than the maximum and minimum lines included in non-sealed batteries (electrolyte level not being level)
  • Adding non-standard acid or electrolyte or more than the specified limit
  • Changing the color of the electrolyte in all battery cells
  • Non-compliance of battery capacity with the actual power consumption required by the car

  • Control of all the items mentioned in Article 2 of the instructions
  • Carrying out the battery test process based on the standard after-sales service procedure as follows:
  – Measuring the primary voltage of the battery
1- If the battery voltage is less than 12 volts and the battery is chargeable, you should proceed with the charging process according to the instructions and the table below.
(The charging process continues until the voltage reaches 12 volts or the battery current drops below 2 amps.)

2- If the battery voltage is above 12 volts, you should test the battery capacity:

  • – Place the test device in the closest place to the battery to avoid unwanted drops.
  • – Set the current test device to half the number of cold start (CCA) or three times the number of capacity in ampere-hours (AH).
  • – The test time should not exceed 15 seconds and the battery voltage should be recorded during the test.
  • – During the test, control the voltage; If the voltage is more than 9, the battery is ok and will be returned to the customer.
  • – If the battery has a voltage of 9 or less, you should change the battery.
Note: The cold start capacity (CCA) is engraved on the battery lid by laser or can be seen on the battery lid label.
  • After the above checks and it is confirmed that the technical defect of the battery was created during the production process, the service centers can consider the battery in question as covered by the guaranty by observing the other provisions of this instruction, and while receiving the defective battery, they can provide a similar replacement.
